ImaCash user manual

ImaCash main screen

Recognize the screen you will work from each day. From this view you can review pending operations, check the active user, see the status of the cash device and access collections, changes, manual transactions, deferred transactions, resynchronization or incidents, always according to the permissions available in your installation.

Overview

The starting point of daily operations

The main screen of ImaCash is the point from which the daily cash activity is consulted and the most common cash actions are accessed.

Visible operations

The operations that ImaCash receives from the POS/POS or that have been generated within the system itself can appear on the main screen.

If a transaction appears pending, it means that it still requires action: collect, credit, defer, cancel, review or complete as the case may be.

Each operation can show

  • User or seller.
  • Point of sale or counter.
  • Amount.
  • Date and time.
  • Type of operation.
  • Payment status.
  • Action available.

Minimize

The minimize icon hides the main ImaCash window on the taskbar or leaves the program in the background, depending on your computer's configuration.

Use it when you need to temporarily set aside ImaCash without closing the program.

Maximize or restore

The maximize icon allows you to enlarge the ImaCash window or restore it to its previous size.

It can be useful if you need to see the list of operations better or work with ImaCash in full screen.

Close

The close icon closes the program.

Before closing ImaCash, check that there are no charges in progress, pending operations, open discrepancies or active machine processes. If you are in the middle of a trade, wait for it to finish before closing.

Users

User and permissions

ImaCash records who performs each operation. Therefore, some actions may require identification before continuing.

  • Make payments or returns.
  • Record manual transactions.
  • Open or close shifts.
  • Consult reports.
  • Access settings.
  • Resolve discrepancies.
  • Carry out emptying or filling.

If the system requests username and password, select your profile and enter your credentials. If your installation uses NFC, you will be able to identify yourself with the configured card or device.

Device

Device status

The main screen also helps you know if the cash machine is ready to work.

  • Connected machine.
  • Machine busy.
  • Insufficient inventory.
  • Lack of change available.
  • Jam.
  • Stacker full.
  • Communication error.
  • Maintenance required.
  • Pending discrepancies.

If a warning appears, review the message before continuing. Some incidents can be resolved from ImaCash, but others require physically checking the machine or contacting technical support.

Floating icon and minimized start

On some installations ImaCash may start minimized or display a floating icon. This option allows you to keep the system active without taking up the entire screen.

From the floating icon you can reopen ImaCash when you need to review operations or perform an action.

Options not visible

What to do if you don't see an option

If an option does not appear on your screen, check these possibilities:

  • Your user does not have permissions for that action.
  • The feature is not active in settings.
  • The cash machine does not support that operation.
  • The corresponding module is not contracted or activated.
  • The operation only appears when there is an open shift.
  • The option is only displayed when there are pending sales or incidents.

If you need to perform an action that you do not see, consult with the manager, administrator or technical support.

Before operating

Recommendation before starting

With this initial review you will avoid errors before collecting, returning change or closing operations.

  • That ImaCash is open and operational.
  • That your user is correctly identified.
  • That there is an open shift if the operation requires it.
  • That the cash machine is connected.
  • That there are no critical notices or discrepancies pending.
  • That the visible operations correspond to the current shift or day.
