Set up Ocipsa in ImaCash
Prepare an ODBC data source for the Medicam installation. Ask your administrator for a driver and DSN that the ImaCash process can use, and an account authorised to read requests and record payments.
- Open Configuration → Integration → POS and select Ocipsa.
- Database name Enter the exact name of the ODBC data source (DSN) configured in Windows. The data source determines the Medicam server and database.
- Enter the private username and password provided by your administrator in their respective fields.
- When leaving Configuration, choose to save the changes. To correct a value, return to editing. Leaving without saving discards pending changes.
Which requests ImaCash reads
ImaCash reads pending till requests from the reading date, including that date. If a request specifies a second payment method, the connector uses that method. Check the amount and till in Medicam before proceeding.
Payment confirmation
When a payment is confirmed without cancellation, ImaCash attempts to record it in Medicam. Rejecting a request in ImaCash leaves it unchanged in Medicam. If the confirmation is missing or recording fails, check the request in both programs and check the cash before trying again.
Saving the settings or seeing the connection indicator verifies only part of the process. Verify reading and confirmation in a supervised test with your technician.
