Set up MediaLab in ImaCash
Ask your MediaLab administrator for the SQL Server address, database and an account that can read the ticket and staff data. Confirm with the provider that your installation supplies that data.
- From the ImaCash main screen, open Configuration → Integration → POS and select MediaLab. Identify yourself if prompted and use a profile authorised to change Configuration.
- In Server IP and Database name, enter the destination and database supplied by your administrator. Fill in User and Password with the private details of the read account. Enter those details only in ImaCash.
- When closing Configuration with the X, choose Save and review each stage’s result. Continue editing returns to the window. Exit without saving discards pending changes and keeps stages already saved.
- Check that an authorised test reference in the ImaCash list matches MediaLab in date, amount, counter and payment type. A successful connection only confirms that ImaCash could open the SQL session.
What ImaCash reads
The connector reads available tickets at or after the requested date and time and applies the configured counter and staff filters. It reads the amount and payment type recorded at source. Confirming or rejecting in ImaCash leaves the MediaLab ticket unchanged.
If tickets are missing
Check the destination, read permissions, date and filters. Ask the provider to check whether the exchange source contains the reference. If the payment outcome is unclear, check the ticket and the cash before repeating it.
