CashPhenix: Set up Securecash in ImaCash

Before setup

• Install SC-Server using the provider’s installer and instructions. It must be running before connecting ImaCash; avoid two instances listening on the same port.
• ImaCash connects over TCP to the PC hosting SC-Server. The administrator supplies its private address and port and prepares access on the authorised network without exposing the service to the Internet.
• Confirm the Securecash model, firmware, SC-Server and enabled operations with the provider. Catalogue references and photos alone do not demonstrate physical validation with ImaCash.

Before commercial use, arrange supervised validation of payments, refunds and other required functions. Capacities and denominations depend on the device and configuration; its validators check cash authenticity.

Setup steps

1. Ask the provider to review SC-Server’s config.properties and prepare native mode serverType=0. Emulation mode does not apply to this connection.
2. Open Settings and select CashPhenix in the machine list, using an authorised user with no operations in progress.
3. In IP, enter the private address of the SC-Server PC or service confirmed by the administrator; do not use another recycler component’s address or a URL containing a protocol and path.
4. In Port, enter the TCP port on which SC-Server listens. Check the value proposed by ImaCash against the service configuration; it is not a universal hardware port.
5. The CashPhenix selection fixes EUR in ImaCash. Confirm that the installation uses that profile; this guide does not demonstrate other currencies.
6. Save and check the connection to SC-Server and the device following the provider’s instructions. This selection uses IP and Port, with no machine username or password fields in ImaCash.
