Set up CSA with ImaCash

The CSA integration reads cash sales through a SQL Server query prepared by the provider. Before starting, ask its technician to confirm the edition, data preparation and access from the ImaCash computer.

Prepare and save the connection

1. Ask the provider to prepare the sales query and confirm the server, database and a private account with read access to the required data. There are no universal credentials.
2. In ImaCash, open Configuration > Integration and select POS > CSA.
3. In Server IP, enter the SQL destination confirmed by the administrator, including its instance identifier if required. This integration has no separate port field.
4. In Instance name, enter the exact CSA database name. Despite its label, this integration uses the field to select the database; any server instance belongs in the previous destination.
5. Enter the User and Password supplied by the administrator only in ImaCash. Do not copy accounts from a screenshot or share these details on the web.
6. When closing with changes, click Save in the current panel. The check opens and closes the SQL connection: it does not by itself validate the sales query or a cash operation. After saving, use the explicit restart button when required. Confirm commissioning with the provider before live use.

What this integration reads

It queries sales marked as cash by the source, starting from the specified date. Each record needs a valid date, receipt reference and amount; incomplete records are not imported. Amounts are interpreted to two decimal places.

Terminal, salesperson and store filters use identifiers published by the source. Check their correspondence before selecting them; no cash drawer catalogue is provided.

The sales query is limited to cash. This guide does not establish support for card capture, closing totals, shifts, products or a complete historical recovery. The provider must confirm how its edition handles negative amounts and refunds.

Local confirmation or refusal does not update the sale status in CSA. Do not treat it as proof of cancellation in the POS or of a physical movement of money.

A successful connection does not certify every CSA edition or machine compatibility. Confirm the edition, data structure and supervised commissioning with the provider.
