Computer requirements
ImaCash must run on Windows with Microsoft Access Database Engine and the 32-bit Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider (x86). The Windows account running ImaCash needs read permission on the TPVSol Access file and its containing folder.
Configuration in ImaCash
Open Configuration > Integration, select TPVSol and complete the following details:
- Sales: select the exact path to the Access file used by the active TPVSol installation. Do not select an old copy or a folder.
- Payment methods: select the actual cash and card codes read from the file itself. ImaCash uses this classification to avoid treating a card payment as cash.
- Terminal: if the installation has several tills, select the terminal that corresponds to this ImaCash.
Scope and security
The integration is strictly read-only. ImaCash reads sales, refunds and their payment methods, but does not modify the Access file or confirm operations in TPVSol.
Required initial test
Before production use, save the configuration and test a cash sale, a card-only sale, a mixed payment and a refund. The cash sale, only the cash component of the mixed payment and the negative refund must each appear once; the card-only sale must not request cash.
If it does not connect or no sales appear
Check that the installed ACE provider is x86, the path points to the current file, the file is not exclusively locked and the Windows account still has read permissions. Then save again to run the real validation.
