Herbolib BETA

Herbolib BETA: Beta integration for one workstation and Windows user, for cash only. It does not include cards, products or stock. Before using it with customers, validate the configuration and cash device with support.

Requirements

Herbolib, ImaCash and the bridge must run on the same computer under the same Windows user. Use a private folder on a fixed local disk, outside OneDrive, network folders and links to other directories. That user must be able to read, create, write and replace the bridge files.

ImaCash configuration

1. Use ImaCash 4.4.3.1271 or later. Download imacash-herbolib-1.0.0.zip from Downloads > Dependencies in the Distributors portal. Install the bridge separately. Download from Dependencies (sign-in required)
2. Under Configuration > Integration > POS > Herbolib, set “Bridge folder” (default: %LOCALAPPDATA%\ImaCash\Herbolib). With no pending operations, close both programs before extracting ImaCashHerbolib.exe and ImaCashHerbolib.exe.config there, and read LEEME.txt. When updating, preserve the existing configuration and operations; replace only those two bridge files.
3. In «Herbolib currency», select the same currency used in Herbolib and the cash machine.
4. Optional: enable Settings > «Open payment when sale is detected». If you leave it disabled, select the pending sale and press «Pay».

Herbolib configuration

1. With authorised access to Herbolib, create or select a Monedero («Cajón inteligente») record for ImaCash. Open Varios > Tablas varias > Terminales, select the workstation and open Periféricos. Enable Monedero and select that record.
2. In the Herbolib IP field, use the local compatibility address confirmed by the administrator and the full path to ImaCashHerbolib.exe in the selected folder. This is neither the cash device address nor a network server. Keep ImaCash open on that same computer under the same Windows user.

Final check

Before production use, check a sale, a refund and a cancellation with support on the selected device. If a payment is pending or its outcome is uncertain, compare both programs and the actual cash before repeating or restarting. Do not delete bridge data to unblock it.
