Dioscourides configuration
ImaCash reads Dioscourides transactions from SQL Server. The integration is read-only: it does not modify the source or send payment, rejection or cancellation confirmations to Dioscourides.
Prerequisites
The person responsible for Dioscourides must prepare SQL Server and a query account with SELECT permission, using the actual ImaCash user and computer. Write or administrator permissions are not required.
The provider must confirm the edition and prepare a transaction source compatible with ImaCash. The database name and access details are private.
Steps to follow
- Access the integration settings: Open Configuration > Integration in ImaCash.
- Select the POS system: Select the POS category in the catalogue. Then select Dioscourides from the drop-down menu.
- Complete the connection details:
- Server / IP: Enter the SQL Server host or IP; where applicable, use host\instance or host,port in this field as supplied by the administrator. This is not an HTTP URL.
- Database name: Enter the exact active database name supplied by the person responsible for Dioscourides. There is no universal name.
- User: Use the private SQL account authorised with SELECT permission on the source prepared for this integration.
- Password: Private information provided by the administrator. Enter it only in ImaCash.
- Save the configuration: When closing Configuration, confirm saving if prompted and follow any restart proposed by ImaCash. The connection and structure check does not verify a complete import or the outcome of a payment.
Capture and limits
Transactions identified as cash are read from the synchronisation date, including refunds with a negative sign. Cards are not captured, and no confirmations, rejections or cancellations are written to Dioscourides. There is no product catalogue, shift data or banking total.
In Settings > Filters, select only the appropriate company, terminal and cashier. Company and terminal use the same source identifier; company or cashier data may be absent. Confirm the filters with the provider. Do not repeat transactions, resynchronise or restart while the outcome is uncertain without checking the source, ImaCash and the actual cash.
