Set up Cosmo Gestión with ImaCash
The connection uses an ODBC data source prepared by the person responsible for Cosmo Gestión on the ImaCash computer. Opening the connection alone does not validate capture or cash handling.
Preparation and setup
- Ask the provider for an ODBC DSN compatible with 32-bit ImaCash and access under the actual Windows user, without authentication prompts. Keep an existing working DSN; do not recreate it routinely. Credentials are configured privately in that data source.
- In ImaCash, open Configuration > Integration > POS and select Cosmo Gestion. Configure the cash device separately under Machine.
- In ODBC name, enter the exact name of the prepared ODBC DSN. This field does not take a file, account, server address or connection string.
- When closing the changed configuration, choose Save. Review messages and loaded data; if a restart is offered, use the explicit button when appropriate. Saving does not establish a complete commissioning check.
- Before commercial use, check references, dates, times, amounts, signs and installation filters with the provider. An empty list proves neither absence of data nor validated configuration.
What to check before use
The connector queries sales and movements exposed by the compatible source and takes their cash component. The provider must confirm which documents are included and the meaning of their states, amounts and signs; do not equate this with the full document amount or bank reconciliation.
Terminal and salesperson filters do not have the same scope for every movement type. Check each flow and its meaning with the provider; the synchronisation date guarantees neither a complete history nor absence of duplicates.
Although payment methods are queried, a general card or mixed-payment flow is not validated. Confirm its treatment before enabling it. Products and shifts are not imported.
Local confirmation or rejection does not write a confirmation or cancellation in Cosmo Gestión. If the result is uncertain, check both programs and actual cash before repeating, resynchronising or restarting.
The provider must confirm the edition, ODBC driver, permissions and terms for this installation. Documentation and a successful connection validate neither every edition nor physical operation.
