Prepare CodyShop with ImaCash

Codyshop is software by Codisys; the ImaCash selector lists it as CodyShop. This guide describes the existing SQL Server connector without extending compatibility to every product edition or deployment.

Preparation steps

1. Ask the provider to prepare the SQL Server transaction exchange and confirm the edition, structure, access and query permissions. Do not choose a database or account based on its apparent name.
2. Open Configuration > Integration > POS and select CodyShop. Configure the cash device separately under Machine.
3. Server IP: use the private SQL Server address confirmed by the administrator. This screen has no separate port field or Windows authentication selector.
4. Database name: enter the exact database name prepared by the provider for this integration.
5. User: use the private SQL account authorised to query transactions and the required filter lists, without requesting general administrative privileges.
6. The password is private information supplied by the administrator. Enter it only in ImaCash; do not copy it into messages or screenshots.
7. Close the changed configuration and choose to save. Check the messages and loaded data: saving or a connection indicator does not by itself validate the complete exchange.
8. Before use, check references, dates, amounts, signs, payment methods and filters with the provider in an authorised environment. Review both programs and actual cash separately.

Scope and limits

Reads the available transactions from the synchronisation date. A received reference, date, amount, terminal, shop or seller does not by itself prove a cash movement.

The connector queries terminals, shops and sellers and includes capture filters. Confirm identifiers and test each filter with the provider, especially the seller filter. An empty list does not prove there is no data; complete history and duplicate-free resynchronisation are not guaranteed.

Classification depends on the received payment method. Do not treat every non-cash method as a validated card payment; mixed payments, refunds and other methods need specific checks. A bank card total is not provided.

A local confirmation or rejection does not write a confirmation, cancellation or refund in Codyshop. If the result is uncertain, review both systems and cash before repeating, resynchronising or restarting.

Does not import products or shifts. SQL Server preparation, a connection or a catalogue listing does not validate an operational installation or physical operation.

The historical Spanish screenshot shows Retail and a Save button. The current selection is POS > CodyShop and saving is requested on closing. Its connection fields are empty; it is not a connection or operation test.
