Configure Copesa EAN mode
BasculaCopesaEan is the mode intended to link a code to a ticket in the Copesa MySQL database. The code format and ticket lookup must be checked before using it in a live installation.
The provider must confirm the compatible database and schema, supported code format and an authorised query account. This guide does not establish compatibility with specific scale models, firmware or commercial versions.
Prepare the configuration
- Open Settings > Integration, choose POS and select BasculaCopesaEan. This is the selector name; you do not need to select an Others category.
- In Server IP, enter the private destination supplied by the administrator. In Database name, enter the confirmed MySQL database; this field is not an ODBC DSN.
- Fill in User and Password with the private account supplied by the administrator. This mode has four fields; it does not request a separate port, instance or cash drawer identifier.
- Close Settings with changes pending and choose Save. Review the server reachability and MySQL connection checks. If Restart is offered, select it only when appropriate and with no operations in progress.
Scope and prior validation
This mode is intended to find a ticket for the current day using the reference in the code; it does not capture tickets through standard polling. Lookup and amount must be functionally validated before live use: saving the configuration or opening MySQL does not demonstrate a correct lookup.
A card or mixed payment breakdown and marking tickets as paid or cancelled in Copesa are not established. Configuration does not demonstrate a payment, refund or bank reconciliation.
BasculaCopesa is the standard mode. BasculaCopesaSoloEan reads data from the code without the MySQL connection described here. These are separate modes: do not interchange their requirements or assume the same code format.
